DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a talented, multidisciplinary professional to join our team as full time to manage all web development and design for the company. This position will report directly to the President of Firstlook, which is a major direct navigation and search company. You will be responsible for creating and developing web pages which see many millions of eyes per day.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Design new web page search applications for the Firstlook domain name
business
• Modify and improve existing page designs within our CMS
• Own page optimization and develop based on real-life real-time numbers and
metrics
• Develop and design new web applications, including social networking
environments and other stand alone rich content sites

Design Skills:
• You must be a visual design and layout expert
• You must possess keen project management and prioritization skills
• Have a real respect for your audience and end users

Developer Skills:
• Extensive knowledge of CSS, X/HTML, JavaScript
• Proven experience modularizing and implementing friendly code
• Strong knowledge of browser differences and experience with cross browser and
cross platform testing
• Good User Experience, Usability, and Information Architecture knowledge

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
• 2-5 years working within a web based business
• Must have strong development skills
